Cut-through in Theatreland

On a Virgin Voyager train from London Euston to Chester - I always worry that my wheel will get stretched...

Plenty of room for the odd cycle stand at the Jewish Museum.

Large area of newly tarted-up public space with not a single cycle stand.

At the far end it looks as if cyclists are being directed through this private estate, but this end is clearly unsuitable.

It looks as if cyclists are being routed through this private estate - some mistake I think

Hatton Wall

An exhibition about distortions at the academic building alongside the seven stations route.

Bus boarding in London is much quicker because cash transactions upon entry are not involved

Van driver tried to assault me for taking this photo https://t.co/TDniuRo1r3

Loading bay across hybrid cycle lane Rather incongruous, especially as there is a bus bay in the roadway just beyond. The raised kerb makes it awkward for a rider to go round a parked vehicle.

New cycle-shareing station at the British Library

Cut-through to the Royal College of Physicians - push your bike here.

The Royal College of Physicians - another health-related institution that's far more interested in driving than in cycling.

Wondering where all the cycle stands have gone - see #61056.

UAL College Kings Cross- public realm

Kings Boulevard Regent?s Canal step

Bikes banned from this (seemingly quiet) London bus lane - why haven't we heard of any protests?

Coach parking is more important than cycle parking at the British Museum

The new plaza in front of King's Cross station - not quite complete, but it's clear there'll be no Dutch-style cycle parking here

Public bike pump at the new development north of Kings Cross

Lots of bikes at Euston today - lots also coming off the trains to take part in the Ride London event.

I first heard about this on twitter: https://twitter.com/BBCTomEdwards/status/356703029493379073 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-23312059

Hybrid car and trailer redistributing 'Boris Bikes' around London.

Marchmont Community Garden - no longer useful as a cut-through

The new entrance on the west side of Kings Cross station - in the Netherlands this area would be full of cycle parking, but in Britain it'll doubtless remain a barren plaza.

Re modelling Russell square - upside, less traffic using west side as a roundabout: Downside - traffic light phasing at Southampton Row is odd and positively encourages bicyclists turning into the square from N, to do it on the red phase ( ... [more]

Lots of road space removed, nothing done with it - how about cycle parking? boris bikes? benches? plants?

Why can't Woburn Walk be opened to cycling? At the least, it'd be easy to put in some cycle parking.

The last Boris bike being borrowed at 9.10am.

New cycle training adverts from TfL

Doorway marked for cycles and wheelchairs in a Class 313 train on the lines to Welwyn Garden City, Hertford North and Letchworth - in fact it's identical to the other door bays, with no modifications.

Martin and Simon at the Wall - the agenda for the WhereCampEU unconference. All those attending and wanting to speak write the talk title on a post-it style note and find a space on the grid.

Junction of two footpaths in Highgate

Closed to motor vehicles - but a bumpy route for cycles because of some cobbled drains across the path, and a narrow gate at the end.
