Route sign on the Seven Station route - closed once again for roadworks.

The awful Seven Stations cycle route has been closed again for roadworks - and where else would the builders put their containers?

Yet again, the awful Seven Stations cycle route has been closed for roadworks.

Yet again - the awful Seven Stations Route is blocked by works, with cyclists told to dismount and walk around.

The Seven Stations cycle route has been kept open through these roadworks while cars have to go the long way around. pedestrians are less well catered for, with no sign to their route on the north side of the roadworks.

A temporary cycle lane has been provided during roadworks on the Seven Stations route, while pedestrians are supposed to take a dogleg to the left - naturally that's not happening, they're just walking along the temporary cycle lane.

One of the more insane features of the Seven Stations Route, clearly engineered by non-cyclists with no understanding of human nature.

For some insane reason cyclists are expected to switch sides here, ie to ride on the right, not the left.

'Cyclists Dismount Here' and go where? teleport? The sign actually means 'Cyclists We Wash Our Hands Of You' [on the always awful Seven Stations Route]

This is where the Seven Stations cycle route used to expect cyclists to make their way somehow across several lanes of fast traffic on Tottenham Court Road - now it's been modified to allow them to move to the left side of the ASL.

The Seven Stations route - awkward to use (two-way cycle traffic on one side of two-way roads) and always blocked by road works.

So that's what it's for! (north side of the British Museum)
