Urmston in Trafford MBC the kissing gate is inadequate for cycles. This is on a proposed cycle link route and sadly the kissing gate is to be retained and the horse stiles renewed !! (in small writing on the draft drawing. UPDATE SEE #100390 People have been using the inconvenient horse steps for years and finally a better solution has been revealed: the horse steps have worn and broken away. No increae in illegal use of the path has been reported (mainly motorcycles).
