This is the most maddening junction in all of London for me. The danger is only when travelling south, however. Why oh why oh why is there no yellow box here? Buses, lorries and cars frequently block the junction so that when the light turns green I have to weave my way through before I can get to the other side of the road (in order to turn west and then turn into Cartwright Gardens). The red light on Euston Road before turning into Cartwright Gardens is also the only red light that I routinely jump, as I would not feel safe otherwise, with major traffic (often busses and lorries) starting at the same time as me. Solution: add a yellow box and give cyclists their own lights before turning into Cartwright Gardens (which thankfully has a cycle path part of the way).
