Heading north from Royal College Street into Kentish Town Road is a real hazard. Once the traffic lights change, drivers heading for Castle Road go straight across the junction, endangering cyclists who find themselves in their path when crossing the junction. If you survive that (and I've had quite a few close shaves), there is the difficulty of getting into the right-hand lane to continue cycling north: buses are pulling into the left lane to stop; and cars are switching between both lanes, leaving the cyclist vulnerable in the middle.
