[Image taken 30.6.22] Library Lawn, next to York Explore/Explore York (library), York. [NOTE: No street view at this location.] This is one of those spaces you don't know if it's private, public, paid for or if you can simply wander in. My image doesn't do it justice. It's to the left of the entrance to the city's main library. There's cycle parking 3m from where I took the image. It's calm, quiet, and presumably much less polluted than the inner ring road that is Museum Street which passes Library Square. It’s also a green unsigned pedestrian route between the library and the art gallery/University of York’s King’s Manor site next to the city walls. It seems it is to be monetised: www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/19926484.mini-golf-plan-near-historic-york-sites-little-short-vandalism/, www.yorkminigolf.co.uk/ Other images today: #183781, #183782, #183783.
