The new "anti-terror" barriers on Kings Parade. I can't help thinking that they were really motivated by a rather cynical desire to make life more awkward for people cycling through the town.
The gap is far too narrow for two way cycling and frequently blocked by tour groups admiring the College architecture.
For any aspiring terrorists, the chain holding the gate shut doesn't look like it would put up much resistance to a pair of bolt croppers.
